Whinchatstar walked into camp then leapt onto highrocks. "May all cats gather to hear my words," she yowled. Riverface walked out of the warriors den yawning. Hawkflame lifted his head in alarm to this news, but then again, the Clan was believe to be in great peril with an "evil" leader. He knew most of the things she was up to, but he wasn't a fool to confront her. Suddenly he snapped, his tail lashing. "Leaving? I thought you cared about this Clan! You travel to StarClan, you get your lives, and then you throw the one oppertunity to change yourself into something better!" sticks and stones may break my bones but words just might kill me. 22:01, February 3, 2016 (UTC)

Loonclaw blinked, certainly taken back by everything was happening so far. Did they just now go through another leader. His yellows eyes only showed shock, "uh," he could only mutter. "I'm go hunt and wait for all this cool down." With that, he promptly rushed out, to clear his mind and figuring what in StarClan was going down. Riverstar walked into camp the next morning. Her blue gaze bright as she gazed around. She was rather tired and hoped to get a nap in before performing her deputy ceremony, but saw that her clan was in chaos. Leaping onto highrock she began to perform the deputy ceremony just as Loonclaw walked back into camp. "As you all know I must choose a deputy, but before I do so." She said. "We are all confused that Whinchat has suddenly left the clan after Spiderstar's sudden death, but I have received my nine lives and plan to fix the clan." She said her eyes scoping the clan to land on first Murkfang then Loonclaw. "I have chosen a strong and noble warrior who will serve as my deputy.
She lashed her tail before continuing. "Loonclaw, is one of the most brave and loyal warriors I know and there's nobody I'd rather trust then him to have my back. So my choice for deputy is Loonclaw."— MinkclawRiver is Beauty, Beauty is Everything! 23:24, February 3, 2016 (UTC)
Loonclaw was certainly surprised to say the least. "Well, I'll be honored to serve on by your side," he responded, dipping his head, "I promise, I'll try and serve to my best and fullest," he vowed. He turned his gaze towards Cherryflower, whom was cheering for him. The two caught sight, and then looked way. The black and white tom admitted he was feeling bad for distancing himself from his family. It's just that kits made the tom anxious, he was more afraid putting on negative influence on his daughter. Rainstorm watched the events unfold rather uncomfortably. How could Winchatstar be so foolish as to appoint a cat hardly older than an apprentice to be their leader? Surely they needed someone with more wisdom, grace, and elegance. Being only two years old, Riverstar-their new leader-looked hardly older than Rainstorm's own kittens.
At the deputy ceremony, Rainstorm remained silent until Riverstar was done speaking and Loonclaw had accepted. At that, the queen stood up. "Does anybody else see something wrong with this?" the queen asked her clan, looking around. "I mean no offense to either of you, Loonclaw and Riverstar, but you're both hardly older than me. With our clan on the verge of war, we at least need one authority figure who is older and more knowledgeable. How can we be expected to intimidate other clans when our leader and deputy are hardly older than kits, and were never even senior warriors?"
Riverstar flicked her ear towards Rainstorm. "I may not be the biggest or strongest there is, but I am loyal and I would never in my life give up my clan. So sure, those who think I'm too young to be leader can disapprove. But that doesn't mean I would step down as a leader. I'm tired of seeing death and my leaders walk away from this clan." She paused her eyes looking all over her cats. — MinkclawRiver is Beauty, Beauty is Everything! 14:12, February 4, 2016 (UTC)
Loonclaw flattened his ears, "no offense Rainstorm, but not all senior warriors are wise, in fact, I can name one, my father," disgust in his tone, remembering how reckless and mouse-brained the warrior was, and he only got older with age, "age doesn't magically grant cat's wisdom, and why should we should have a cat that will most likely die or retire just because their old," he snorted, "also I'm not that young, you do realize I'm nearing my third season. A deputy should be picked because they posses leadership skills not because their age. If that was the case, we might as well pick an elder." He lashed his tail, "and wouldn't it be better to try and resolve the conflicts then scaring the other clans into obeying us." Needless to say, the tom was feeling extremely grouchy, sure he wanted to be left alone, but he had a duty to the clan. Honesty, where are these so called senior warriors in this clan, I see zero, he though with a lash of his tail, he stalked out, maybe because they all died, because y'know their old. He could understand if Riverstar had placed a recently made warrior as deputy, but one that's been a warrior for two season, almost three. How in the name of StarClan, am I barely a kit, he snorted as slunk off away from the other cats. I want to Believe 👽 18:18, February 4, 2016 (UTC)Ospreypaw
Riverstar narrowed her eyes at Rainstorm. "What Loonclaw says is right and I won't have you telling me anything otherwise. I picked him because he's loyal and does his duties. I'm not sure why Whinchat picked me, but I'm as loyal as any other cat here maybe even more." After that was said the mink leader headed out of camp to talk with Loonclaw. Once she spotted his form ahead. She trotted up to the tom. "I'm sorry. Rainstorm was out of line." She paused.— MinkclawRiver is Beauty, Beauty is Everything! 18:34, February 4, 2016 (UTC)
Shadowspots stepped forward. "I may have once been a rogue but I understand her worries, we are putting all of our trust in your paws. We are worried because the younger you are the less hardship you have faced. Murkfang watched Riverstar with interest; Winchatstar- er, Winchat, had made a pretty nice choice. But perhaps he was being a bit biased, since the mink she-cat was one of his friends. Not only that, but Riverstar herself made a nice choice in appointing Loonclaw. Noticing the franic arguing among his Clanmates over this particular appointment, he lashed his tail. "Shadowspots, you say for him to watch his tongue, but here you are, insulting the very first thing our new leader has done, and insulted a Clanmate, who happens to now be the deputy. Riverstar stopped Loonclaw with her tail. "It's quite alright. I know some go through hardships, but I chose you because your one of the warriors I trust to have my back in battle." Murkfang was dozing in the sun, happy the snow had melted a bit over the last few days, exposing hard ground that was easily warmed by the leaf-bare sun. He lifted his head and let out a soft chirp when he scented Riverstar near by. "Riv!" he said, twitching his whiskers happily. Rainstorm huffed, clearly annoyed. How could these cats be so foolish? She was grateful that others had seen the logic in her stance and agreed with her, but at even the slightest hint of upcoming war, Rainstorm knew this clan would not be safe. As much as it would pain her, Rainstorm knew she had to leave ShadeClan when that day arrived. Loonclaw had calmed down and returned back into camp. He made a bee-line towards his mate and asked her come with him. "Can we talk," he asked.
Cherryflower blinked and responded, "well of course," she got up to him to more quieter part of camp where they could discuss, "are you still upset at Rainstorm, and Shadowspots?"
Loonclaw gritted his teeth, "slightly," he sighed, "yes, because the fact I haven't suffer enough, I've can't be wise enough know not to put the clan trouble, never mind the fact that fact what my father put me through a enough suffering to last life time," he stated in quiet voice, loud enough for only Cherryflower, "I bet I'm going come to regret being deputy."
Cherryflower placed her paw on his, "don't let them get to you, I know you'll do you're best, but if you feel like you might end up regretting taking the job, perhaps you could talk to Riverstar about stepping down."
"No," Loonclaw's voice grew harsh, "and let myself be known as the cat was deputy for not even day, because he could take some criticism. I have duty to my clan, if it's a duty that'll I regret, I will continue because the clan comes first, Cherryflower."

Pinepaw carried fresh bedding into the nursery, softly lashing her plumy tail. She was in a rather awkward position: sure, she was glad her mentor was happy living his life with kits and a mate, but the past three moons had been miserable for her, for he hadn't been spending any time with him. And, of course, with her mother taking over the majority of her training, Pinepaw was instructed to put bedding into the nursery-more specifically-Hawkflame's kits' nest. With a sigh, the apprentice had gathered up some clean moss and ducked inside her former home.
When she entered, the dim lighting briefly blinded her, and she paused until her eyes adjusted. She could spot the three kittens squirming and scuttling around the nest, and headed over there, setting the fresh moss down besides it. The tortoiseshell scoffed, narrowing her eyes as Shadowspots dashed back across the clearing, to flee from the clan's new dictator.
Shadowpaw was sitting by his mother, and knew full-well her opinion of their new leader, and agreed, to an extent. "I think that Riverstar really wants to fit in, but feels left out because of everybody disrespectful attitudes. Especially Rainstorm, but I can also see that Riverstar really respects Rainstorm."
Meanwhile, Riverstar had shown the way out of camp and had also held a meeting on having new battle techniques that she herself had invented. How dare that ignorant child try to soften her up? Meanwhile, Shadowpaw trudged along Riverstar, not overly enthusiastic at the thought of learning battle moves. Alone in the darkness of the elder's den sat the large frame of Spiderstorm. It had been a while since she had to forcibly retire due to her eyesight. Now, the once powerful leader could not see. With her lack of vision she became even more deadly to be around. She would lash out if someone didn't alert her of their presence, or she would simply leave the camp without notice. Now, she was 'asleep'. Spiderstorm was sitting in silence and was facing the den's entrance. She had no idea where her son was, and had to guess that he was off goofing around with his mate, Fireclaw. The former leader was also running over the events that followed her resignation - the failure of her Clan.
Nightstorm was actually inside camp for once. The skinny black tom hadn't talked to his mother since the well-known events had shaken the Clan. Next to him was Fireclaw, who was sleeping on her side with her head against his shoulder. The two had discussed litters, and had tried, but Fireclaw had been unable to carry a litter past the first couple weeks. No one knew except for them, and Thistlecloud. Nightstorm preferred it to be kept that way too.
Outside of camp, Ivypelt and Littlenose were hunting. They, being some of the youngest warriors, had decided to hunt for the queens and Spiderstorm. He hated seeing her waste away in the elder's den - alone. Ivypelt however couldn't care less for the old leader - his mentor was Nightstorm. He had been told by Nightstorm all the horrors that the she-cat was capable of and what she truly wanted to do. She said. — MinkclawRiver is Beauty, Beauty is Everything! 03:40, February 21, 2016 (UTC)
Spiderstorm's ears pricked when she heard Brightfern call. "My darling, Brightfern." The black she-cat tried shifting towards the younger one's voice, as well as she could. "How have you been?" She asked as she continued trying to settle. — #destructioninhumanform 03:46 Sun Feb 21
Brightfern smiled slightly. "I'm fine. Hoping to find a mate soon though," she said. The torotiseshell smiled before sitting beside her mother with a mouse pushing it towards til it touched her paw.— MinkclawRiver is Beauty, Beauty is Everything! 03:49, February 21, 2016 (UTC)
Spiderstorm nosed the mouse softly before starting to eat it. After a mouthful she wiped her tongue her mouth. "Why rush though dear? You'll have plenty of time to find someone right for you. No matter where they are from." — #destructioninhumanform 03:51 Sun Feb 21
"Well true, but I want someone there for. Someone I can share my nest with every night." She said closing her eyes as she talked. Once she opened her eyes she sniffed before asking. "I want kits someday and not when I'm old." She joked. "Why'd you retire from being leader?" She asked her adoptive mother.— MinkclawRiver is Beauty, Beauty is Everything! 03:54, February 21, 2016 (UTC)
"Your life is yours to lead. I wish Nightstorm's father stayed with me for longer than he did - but I guess we weren't meant to be. But, I wish you good luck, Brightfern. I really would love some 'grandkits'." Spiderstorm chuckled. When she stopped, the former leader took a deep breath. "I don't know why. I find it stupid that StarClan told me to retire. I can still lead even without my sight. But if they wanted Riverstar to lead, then fair enough." She said softly. "Between you and me, I would kill to be Spiderstar again." — #destructioninhumanform 04:02 Sun Feb 21
Brightfern gave a soft chuckle. "Well you still are to me. Riverstar may be my friend, but if you had been able to chose a deputy it should have been Riverstar." She said. "She's a great leader, but Rainstorm keeps judging her because of what Whinchat did." She said.— MinkclawRiver is Beauty, Beauty is Everything! 04:07, February 21, 2016 (UTC)
"Remind me, what did Whinchat do. My memory seems to have faded since my retirement." Spiderstorm asked. "But I agree with Rainstorm - both Riverstar and Loonclaw are too young to be leading this Clan in this dark time. If I wasn't confined so harshly here, I would happily go and help them out. But I'm not sure they would appreciate this old bag of bones bossing them around." — #destructioninhumanform 04:12 Sun Feb 21
Brightfern stay ed silent for a minute before speaking. "Whinchat left after she became leader to become a...kittypet." She said tensing for her mother's reaction. Riverstar, meanwhile, had brought her apprentice back to camp after teaching him some more hunting and battle moves. She told him he'd be free for the rest of the day before going to take a nap.— MinkclawRiver is Beauty, Beauty is Everything! 04:17, February 21, 2016 (UTC)
As if reliving the anger, Spiderstorm jumped up suddenly and stumbled out of the elder's den hissing and growling. "How dare she do that. ShadeClan warriors are bred to be nothing like those soft-hearted house cats!" She hissed, staring into nothing. "I picked her because of her hardened attitude so alike to mine. I was going to groom her to be my best successor. Instead she abandons this Clan and lets all hell break loose. I will find her myself and teach her a lesson." — #destructioninhumanform 04:21 Sun Feb 21
Brightfern's eyes widened. "Perhaps there's a way you could help out with Riverstar," her gaze soft before she glanced out to see Riverstar swamped. She knew her friend was tired, but needed help.— MinkclawRiver is Beauty, Beauty is Everything! 04:24, February 21, 2016 (UTC)
Spiderstorm's shoulders slumped as she heaved for breath. "If she wants help, I'll happily help. She's too young for that role, Brightfern. I hate to say that about anybody, but I can sense it." The black she-cat stared at what she thought was the ground as she caught her breath. — #destructioninhumanform 04:27 Sun Feb 21
Loonclaw sighed, "Wolfkit, why don't you play with some other kits," he instructed his daughter, shooing her away. He stood up, deputyship wasn't as hard as he imagine right now, what he really was doing was assigning cats to patrols, as along as he remembered who was what patrol, he was okay. However, the black and white tom felt like there probably more to job, other than being a glorified patrol assigner. Maybe, I should talk to Spiderstorm, he thought, I want to be a deputy the clan can be proud of, maybe even dad if his up StarClan. he flatten his ears, no, dad would never be would proud of me. He would probably be claiming I'm destroying the clan just being on the position. Just the basic jest of what Rainstorm said, but a lot more insulting. He shook his head, why did Spiderstorm have to retire, why did Whinchat have to leave? he frowned, sure it was great that he became deputy, but why did it have to happen so fast. The tom washed his chest, the creeping feeling of his terrible self-worth was coming back to him. I want to Believe 👽 17:49, February 21, 2016 (UTC)Ospreypaw
Bitternflower walked into camp her gaze going to every time near. They're trying to get to me. She thought before shaking the thought away. The ginger tabby she-cat ducked her head as she passed Murkfang who she knew had a love interest for Riverstar. She quickly headed over to the warriors den bumping into someone. "Oh, I-i-i'm so sorry," she whispered as she looked up to see none other than the medicine cat, Thistlecloud.— MinkclawRiver is Beauty, Beauty is Everything! 15:50, February 23, 2016 (UTC)
Shiningheart blinked. "Well... I do, sometimes. I mean, it's an important part of being a warrior for a lot of cats. I really don't know. Do you?" Lost in the Darkness... 18:37, February 23, 2016 (UTC)
Deadfoot walked into camp his thoughts on his now deceased father and half siblings, Sparrowfeather and Birdtail. Did they go to StarClan or were they doomed like his father? He hadn't thought much of it when Riverstar called a sudden meeting. "With great thought and talk with Spiderstorm," she paused letting the cats murmur for aminute before silencing them with her tail. "Shpiderstorm has decided that her retirement will not stay and therefore I welcome Spiderstorm as a full senior warrior of ShadeClan." She said before leaping down beside Murkfang. — MinkclawRiver is Beauty, Beauty is Everything! 14:20, February 29, 2016 (UTC)
Spiderstorm stood beside her adoptive sons, who somewhat held her up. "Thank you, Riverstar. I will try to retain my duties as best as I can." The powerful black she-cat dipped her head. — #destructioninhumanform 19:37 Mon Feb 29 2016
"It's me?" Shiningheart stared at her for a few confused moments before everything clicked. "Wait a minute... do you mean to say that you want us to be mates?" He didn't wait for an answer. "Sorry, Shadowspots... but I'll have to say yes." His eyes twinkled with happiness. (<3 ShiningSpots) Lost in the Darkness... 21:36, February 29, 2016 (UTC)
